Meet Our Surveyor

David Brent, PLS brings nearly two decades of professional surveying experience supporting residential, commercial, agricultural, and municipal projects throughout Northern California. His background includes work on large-scale land development, public infrastructure improvements, construction layout, and boundary-related projects requiring technical precision, regulatory understanding, and practical problem-solving.

David approaches land surveying with a disciplined, client-focused mindset grounded in technical expertise, field experience, and professional accountability. Known for responsive service and clear communication, he works closely with property owners, engineers, contractors, developers, and public agencies to help projects move forward efficiently and confidently from initial planning through completion.

A graduate of the California State University, Sacramento Business Honors Program, David brings a strong foundation in business management, financial accountability, and client service to the profession. In addition to leading Cardinal Land Surveying, he serves as an Associate Land Surveyor for the County of Sacramento, where he has gained valuable experience navigating public agency coordination, mapping standards, regulatory processes, and regional development requirements.

This combination of public- and private-sector experience provides Cardinal Land Surveying with a well-rounded understanding of the technical, administrative, and communication challenges involved in delivering successful projects throughout the region.
