Cardinal Land Surveying was retained by Hanford ARC on behalf of the California Department of Water Resources (DWR) to provide comprehensive survey support for the Northern Yolo Bypass ARC 1 and Tule Channel conservation project located within the Fremont Weir Wildlife Area in Yolo County, California.
Survey services included establishment of project control, pre-construction topographic surveying, post-construction as-built surveying, and preparation of Digital Terrain Models (DTM) utilized to support grading operations and earthwork volume calculations throughout the project corridor.
Accurate terrain modeling and dependable survey data were essential to documenting existing conditions, verifying constructed grades, quantifying cut-and-fill volumes, and supporting the project’s habitat restoration and floodplain enhancement objectives. Field data collection and surface modeling were performed to provide reliable deliverables for construction verification and long-term project documentation.
This project reflects Cardinal Land Surveying’s commitment to delivering precise survey data, dependable terrain modeling, and professionally defensible mapping solutions that support conservation, habitat restoration, and sustainable water resource infrastructure projects throughout Northern California.
