Record of Survey Mapping

Cardinal Land Surveying was retained to perform an ALTA / NSPS Land Title Survey, Boundary Survey, and Record of Survey for McNary’s Chapel in Downtown Woodland, California. The project involved two chapel-owned parcels, including the historic chapel property located at 458 College Street and an associated parking parcel across College Avenue.
The survey required detailed title and boundary analysis, establishment of precise project control, and comprehensive mapping of existing site improvements in accordance with current ALTA / NSPS Minimum Standard Detail Requirements. Existing buildings, access features, utilities, surface improvements, and occupation evidence were carefully documented to support accurate boundary determination and lender review requirements.
Because the parcels had historically been conveyed by deed and had not previously been shown on a filed map, Cardinal Land Surveying also prepared a Record of Survey for filing with the County of Yolo in compliance with the Professional Land Surveyors’ Act. Careful reconciliation of record and field evidence was performed to establish clear and defensible boundary positions for both parcels.
This project reflects Cardinal Land Surveying’s commitment to delivering precise urban boundary solutions, ALTA-compliant mapping, and professionally defensible survey products for commercial property and title-related projects throughout Northern California.
